Start with Core Cover

We recognise the importance of providing quick and convenient access to some of the most common healthcare treatments. As part of our Core Cover, your clients have access to:
  • Unlimited GP consultations within 48 hours 
  • Access to at least two Face-to-Face GP consultations from Vitality’s network of Private GPs for £20 per consultation1
  • Self-referral to see a physiotherapist from our Priority Physio network and self-referral to a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist or Counsellor from our Talking Therapies network
  • Up to £100 per plan year towards prescriptions and blood tests
  • Access to the Health Advice Line which provides fast, 24/7 expert clinical advice, support and guidance for non-urgent, non-life-threatening conditions from trained healthcare professionals

Vitality pays for eligible surgical procedures where members are treated as an out-patient.
We offer a comprehensive end-to-end approach to mental health – from prevention and maintenance to early intervention, and comprehensive treatment for more severe conditions. 

As part of Core Cover, your clients get access to a 12-month subscription to leading mindfulness app, Headspace on Vitality, as well as eight Talking Therapies sessions.

Additional Cover Options

To ensure your clients get exactly the plan they want we give your clients the option to tailor their cover. Your clients can add any of these options to their Core Cover.

We offer six physiotherapy sessions through our Priority Physio network as part of Core Cover. By adding Out-patient Cover, your client’s physiotherapy sessions through our Priority Physio network are covered in full. Your clients can also use a physiotherapist outside of our network but can only claim up to £35 per session, which will be deducted from any selected Out-patient Cover limit.

Your clients can choose from the following levels of Out-patient Cover; £500, £750, £1,000, £1,250 or £1,500. This limit will apply to out-patient consultations, consultant appointments and other diagnostic tests, as well as physiotherapy that isn’t arranged through our Priority Physio network. MRI, CT & PET scans, and physiotherapy arranged through our Priority Physio network, is covered in full.

We believe in the importance of providing a holistic solution to mental health, allowing clients to proactively engage with healthy mental wellbeing activities, to quickly access out-patient mental health support, and provide them with more comprehensive treatment when required.

As well as the mental health support offered to your clients as part of their Core Cover, we also give your clients the ability to add additional Mental Health Cover should they wish to tailor their plan.

  • Full Cover for Talking Therapies (where clinically appropriate)
  • £1500 towards other out-patient cover (outside Talking Therapies network, e.g. with a psychiatric consultant)
  • Up to 28 days of in-patient cover per episode, plus 28 days of day-patient treatment. Your clients are covered for multiple episodes of care during the year, should they need it*.
*After 56 days without in-patient or day-patient treatment, we’ll fully restore your clients benefit limits covering them for further episodes of care during their plan year.
Includes chiropractic treatment; osteopathy; chiropody/podiatry; acupuncture; homeopathy; and two consultations with a dietician following a GP or consultant referral.
Designed to help meet some of your clients most common healthcare costs, from routine check-ups and preventative care to dental procedures and prescription glasses. It also contributes towards other significant needs like hearing aids and the costs of restoring appearance after dental accidents.
Includes up to £10 million emergency medical expenses overseas, as well as lost luggage, delayed flights and more.

Our Business Healthcare plan also offers the ability to add an Employee Assistance Programme, Emergency Overseas Medical Expenses and a Personal Health Fund for additional expenses not normally covered by Private Health Insurance.
Your clients can tailor their plan further, by choosing a hospital list, a level of excess and choosing which type of underwriting suits their needs.

Fair and Transparent Renewal Pricing

Our Personal Healthcare plan renewal prices are based on our ABC pricing model, which is fair, intuitive and transparent. We use your clients Age, Base rate increase, claims history and engagement with the Vitality Programme to calculate their renewal premium.

Members can also reduce renewal price increases by engaging with the Vitality Programme.
